Summary          

Ovangkol, also known as Amazique, Amazoue, Mozambique, or Shedua, is a tropical African
wood with yellowish to reddish brown heartwood and pale yellow sapwood, used in veneer,
furniture, and musical instruments. It is moderately durable, dense (51 lbs/ft⊃3;), and works well
though silica can dull tools.
