-Origin:.Nigeria/Ghana//Ivory Coast/DRC .
-Appearance:The logs have a pale brown to golden-yellow bark. Once cut, the heartwood shows a rich golden-brown color, which darkens over time, while the sapwood is lighter in shade. Its texture is coarse and the grain is usually interlocked, giving it a unique look.
-Physical Properties: Iroko wood is dense and strong, with an air-dry density of around 0.6 - 0.75 g/cm³. It’s naturally resistant to decay and insects, and has good durability. It can be worked with standard woodworking tools, although its interlocked grain may require some care during machining.
-Supply Status:Legal and sustainable harvesting practices regulate Iroko log exports in African countries. Reliable suppliers ensure regular monthly shipments of Iroko ROUNG LOGS to markets around the world, catering to various customer demands.
What makes an Iroko pergola especially beautiful is the character of the grain. The timber carries flowing patterns, natural tonal shifts, and gentle interlocking textures that prevent the structure from feeling flat or industrial. Sunlight filtering through the beams creates moving shadows across the wood, making the pergola feel almost sculptural — like an extension of nature itself.

What makes Iroko especially admired in exterior architecture is the balance between strength and elegance. The timber feels solid and durable, yet visually warm and breathable. It softens concrete, glass, steel, and stone beautifully, allowing modern buildings to feel more human and connected to nature. In contemporary architecture, Iroko often creates the feeling of a luxury resort, a coastal villa, or a high-end European retreat.

Iroko Decking is manufactured from premium African hardwood renowned for its durability, stability, and natural beauty. Often known as "African Teak," Iroko is widely used for outdoor decking, terraces, pool surrounds, and landscape projects due to its excellent resistance to weather, moisture, and biological attack.

Iroko yacht decking offers excellent durability, natural water resistance, and a luxurious teak-like appearance at a more competitive cost.

Iroko furniture combines outstanding durability, elegant natural grain, and excellent resistance to moisture and insects, making it ideal for premium indoor and outdoor use.

Heartwood presents golden yellow to medium brown when freshly sawn, gradually oxidizing to a uniform antique bronze and dark chocolate brown with time. It features typical interlocked grain with moderate coarse texture and natural luster, forming continuous striped decorative patterns. Sapwood is pale off-white and clearly demarcated from heartwood, which will be strictly removed in premium-grade timber. Natural color variation and grain irregularities are normal characteristics of authentic tropical hardwood, not quality defects.
