Padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii), also known as African Padauk, is a premium tropical hardwood sourced from the natural rainforest of Equatorial Guinea. Fresh-cut heartwood features striking bright orange-red. After exposure to air and sunlight, it gracefully ages into deep wine-red and reddish-brown tones. It is naturally durable, termite and rot resistant, easy to machine, glue and polish.

We supply Padouk sawn timber, shipped directly from Equatorial Guinea. Our AD planks are stacked and air-dried locally on-site. Slow air drying stabilises the timber, keeps moisture consistent, reduces warping, splitting and checking. It helps buyers save extra kiln drying cost at their mill.
